As a rider and qualified bike mechanic, I opened Spectrum Motorcycles back in 1989. The business started off small, but over the years, demand for larger premises and additional staff grew. 20 years later, with a new garage and some great staff, Spectrum has grown but remain true to its reputation of providing honest, knowledge and friendly advice to its customers.

 

"Every bike has its own challenges", but our mechanical team are fully equipped, focused and up to speed with the latest bikes and repair technologies. The retail team tests out the accessories on the track, ensuring the advice they give is honest and reliable, and are always keen to hear your thoughts.

 

The Spectrum Showroom is open Monday to Friday and until 1pm on Saturday. This provides us with ample opportunity for us to prepare and travel to trial rides and events throughout the upper North Island on Sundays. This year we were the main sponsor of the Two Main Series and continue to actively support the Rodney Motocross club.

 

As a corporate sponsor of New Zealand's Westpac Rescue Helicopter, our assistance goes towards helping fellow riders get rescued when locations and time becomes barriers.
