What is CBTA?

CBTA or Competency-based training and assessment is a new training and assessment option for people wanting to get their motorcycle licence. So instead of taking a practical test at the restricted and full stage of your licence you can choose to have your skills assessed by an apporved CBTA assessor.

Training is not compulsory but highly recommended before attempting the assessment. The assessments are designed to ensure you are competent on a motorcycle and have all the riding skills required.

Benefits of completing CBTA include reducing the time it takes to gain your restrcited and/or full licence, improve your riding skill levels and being a smarter safer rider.
